We’re looking for a proactive Relationship Support Officer to join our team and provide vital support to Relationship Managers and their customers. In this role, you’ll help deliver a seamless service across portfolios, broaden and deepen customer relationships, and ensure our banking proposition continues to meet the highest standards.

You’ll play a key part in supporting new business development, managing credit exposures, and ensuring compliance with AML/KYC requirements. Working closely with colleagues across the Bank, you’ll help optimise customer satisfaction, income opportunities, and the delivery of Unity’s values.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient support to Relationship Managers and customers in line with service standards.
  • Broaden and deepen customer relationships to optimise income and satisfaction.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Unity’s products and services, recommending suitable solutions.
  • Support RMs in managing credit exposures and mitigating risks.
  • Assist in developing quality new business aligned with the UN SDGs and Unity’s values.
  • Analyse customer financial information and prepare lending proposals for Credit Underwriting.
  • Ensure AML/KYC requirements are met for RM‑managed customers.
  • Liaise with Unity Connect to ensure seamless account opening and servicing.
  • Lead engagement with Valuers and manage the valuation process.
  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Director and ad‑hoc tasks.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and support new product development.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with business, commercial, or corporate customers.
  • Strong operational knowledge of bank processes, regulatory/legal issues, and banking technology.
  • Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills.
  • Customer‑centric approach with a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Numeracy and analytical skills to interpret financial information.
  • Knowledge of facility letters and security documents (desirable).
  • Relevant banking qualifications (desirable).
